Lone Star Circle of Care adds OB/GYN services at Taylor clinic

TAYLOR—Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC), a federally qualified health center, has added obstetrics to the services offered at its clinic in Taylor, Texas. Lone Star Circle of Care Health Center at Taylor, which has been providing primary care to patients of all ages since February 2011, will now offer prenatal care services one day per week.

“We have a number of women from eastern Williamson County and the surrounding area that travel to our OB/GYN clinics in Round Rock to receive prenatal care,” Dr. Tamarah Duperval- Brownlee, chief medical officer for LSCC, said. “Offering obstetrics ser v ices in Taylor w ill enhance access to these services, making it more convenient for patients living in the Taylor area to receive care throughout the course of their pregnancy.”

Lone Star Circle of Care’s OB/ GYN service line features two dedicated obstetrics and gynecology practices, both located in Round Rock, which of fer comprehensive prenatal care, labor and delivery, as well as gynecological services. Offering prenatal and post-partum care in Taylor is an extension of these services, bringing convenient access to care for patients who have limited transportation.

Lone Star Circle of Care Health Center at Taylor is located at 305A Mallard Lane, adjacent to Scott & White Hospital–Taylor, and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner will offer prenatal care ser vices by appointment from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.
