Spay, neuter clinic coming to Rockdale twice
Low cost spay and neutering services are coming to Rockdale, possibly every other month in the near future.
Emancipet Mobile Clinic will be at S&S Auto, 1901 W. Cameron Avenue (next to Rockdale Federal Credit Union), on Tuesday, Aug. 14, offering spay and neuter services, low cost vaccinations and other preventatives for dogs and cats. Full Story

Not cool: Two arrested for stealing church ACs
Two Rockdale men were arrested Tuesday and charged with stealing air conditioners from three area churches, two in the Rockdale area, plus one from a Rockdale residence.
Donald Page and David Johnson, both 24, were charged with theft ($1,500 to $20,000) from a non-profit organization and Johnson is also being held on a Bastrop County warrant for marijuana possession. Full Story
Cameron police seeking drug suspect after chase
C a mer on p ol ic e , a nd l aw enforcement officers throughout Central Texas, are seeking a 53-year- old Cameron man in connection with a Monday chase and several drug offense warrants.
Kenneth Wayne Montgomery is being sought on warrants ra ng ing f rom posse ssion of drugs in a school zone to evading arrest in connection with the chase. Full Story
Milano Opry on stage Saturday

MILANO—The annual W.D. Morgan reunion was held on Saturday, July 14 at the Milano Senior Citizens Center, attended by approximately 70 family members and friends.
