employees Lou Lourcey (L) and
James Hanshew treat 26-year-old Justin Baker of Bartlett after
placing him on a gurney minutes after his Ford Fusion was involved
in a two-vehicle collision Thursday just east of Rockdale. State
Trooper Ernest DelBosque said Baker’s car was in collision with a pickup (background, right) driven by 35-year-old Jesse Shelander
of Rockdale at 4:05 p.m. on US 79 about three miles east of the
city limits. Baker was taken to Richards Memorial Hospital, while
Shelander was not transported. Damages were termed extensive to
the car and moderate to the pickup. Lourcey is a former Rockdale
