Big Blue faces live opposition on Friday
While opening kickoff is 15 days away, the Rockdale Tiger football team will get its first taste of real live competition Friday.
The Tigers host Marlin Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. at Tigerland Field for their first scrimmage of summer two-a-days.
Marlin finished 5-6 in 2012 and is led by wide receiver Ladarian Hopwood under new coach Tim Hensley. Full Story

THORNDALE— Coming off their first winning season since 2008, the Thorndale Lady Dogs look to compete for a district title as they head back down to Class A after two years in a very competitive 2A district.
