Gause boy also wins all-around in age division
Garrett Reed of Gause competed at the Palomino Horse Breeders of America Youth World Championships on July 22-27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Youth from across the nation and Canada competed at the year’s World Championships.
Reed is the son of Mikel and Amber Reed of Gause. He is the grandson of Byron and Georgia Wise of Gause and Chuck and Carolyn Reed of Caldwell. Full Story

Rockdale FFA is selling T-shirt sponsorships for a 2012-13 fund-raiser. A large banner at the top is $700, with medium boxes in the middle of the shirt (large enough for a company logo) available for $250. At the bottom of the shirt back, company names can be listed for $100. Full Story

Milam 4-H record books place at state
Four Milam County 4-Hers competed in the State 4-H record books in August. A total of 302 4-Hers from across the state submitted record books for the judging. Congratulations to the 4-Hers for their accomplishments.
