Reporter/Bill Matin Emily McCoy picked up 15 digs in the victory over Granger. Reporter/Bill Matin On the brink of suffering defeat on the road, the Rockdale Lady Tigers rallied for a 25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 25-16, 15-7 victory over Granger Tuesday night.

With the win, the Lady Tigers improve to 4-10 on the

Against Cedar Creek, Evans had nine kills and Boyd 12 assists.

Against Academy, Evans blasted five kills, Vest saved five digs and Boyd dished off nine assists.

The Lady Tigers fell to Killeen 25-19, 25-21, Stockdale 26-24, 27-25 and Killeen 26-24, 25-20.

Versus Killeen, Evans had seven kills, Morgan Fischer 11 digs and Vest three aces.

A ga inst Stockda le, Eva ns racked up 12 ki l ls, Morgan Laughlin 11 kills and Vest banged out 12 aces.

In the final matchup against Killeen, Laughlin broke loose for 14 kills and eight aces and Vest delivered 13 kills.

Tournament

The Lady Tigers will host their 4th annual tournament, which has swelled to 12 teams this year.

Pool play begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, with the finals scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Cameron defeated Thorndale for last year’s title.
