Kristi’s Krusaders MS event Saturday at Nat’s
Kristi’s Krusaders third annual “ Ral ly for the Walk” Walk MS 2012 will take place Saturday, Sept. 8 at Nat’s in Milano. The day’s events will include a five-stop motorcycle ride, motorcycle show, barbecue for sale, live and silent auctions, pool tournament, horseshoe tournament and more. Proceeds will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
Registration for the bike run will begin at 9:30 a.m. with first bike out at 11 a.m. and the last bike in at 4:30 p.m. Price is $20 for single and $25 with passenger, and will include a barbecue plate.
Barbecue plates for sale will be ready around noon for $8 and will include brisket and trimmings. Sausage wraps will be sold for $2.
A silent auction will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a live auction at 5 p.m. A horseshoe tournament will start at 1 p.m., followed by a pool tournament at 2 p.m. The day will also include a “ladies choice” bike show, raffle, door prizes, 50/50 drawing and T-shirt sales.
A dance will be held later in the evening with Full House Blue Band playing. Cover will be $5 for the dance.

The Milano PATCH Club will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Sept. 6 at the elementary principal’s office. The group will elect officers at the meeting. Start time will be 6:30 p.m.
The group has also started collection of the “Box Tops for Education” that gets free money for our schools. If you have any you can turn them in at either school campus office or to any PATCH Club member.
The Milano Ex-Students Association reunion and luncheon will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Milano Civic Center. A catered meal by The Crossing (Steve and Rebecca Telg and Richard and Jennifer Mueck) wi ll be served at noon and include roast, green beans and potatoes.
