County keeps same tax rate, okays budget
CAMERON—Milam County Commissioners, meeting Monday in the courthouse, okayed a 60-cent tax rate for 2012, same as the current rate.
Commissioners also okayed a 2013 general fund budget of $11,181,227, an increase of $886,400 from the current year.
Total expenditures in all county budgets was pegged at $18.3 million. Full Story
Police cruser strikes hog during Tuesday patrol
Rockdale Police Ofc. Brandon Tess escaped injury late Tuesday when his patrol car was in collision with a dead feral hog near Coffield Regional Airport.

Ex-students reunion, meal Saturday at civic center
MILANO news T he annual Milano Ex-Students Association reunion and luncheon will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Milano Civic Center.
