Miller

FRANKLIN— Services for Lois Fae Baker Miller, 89, of Denton were held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Frank- lin Church of Christ in Franklin. Burial followed in Hol ly Cemetery in Ridge.

Mrs. Miller died Friday, Sept. 7, at her residence.

She was born July 25, 1923, in Marquez to Elliot Mitchell and Freddie Irene Baker.

She married James Curry Miller on July 23, 1943. They were married for 68 years.

Mrs. Miller was a Denton resident for the past year and a half and previously lived in Rockdale for 40 years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors are a daughter, Linda Blucker and husband Tom; her grandchildren, Kristi Glenn and husband Curtis, Ryan Blucker, Elizabeth Ross and husband Justin, David Blucker and wife Eileen; a great-grandson, Levi Ross; two nieces, Carolyn Bitner and Jean Money; and a nephew, Randall Baker.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
