Masons holding garage sale Friday, Saturday
Milano’s Masonic Lodge will hold a garage sale on Friday and Saturday at the Milano Community Center, located downtown Milano across from the post office. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
A large group attend the annual Milano Former Students Association meal and reunion on Saturday. It was held at the Milano Civic Center and the meal by The Crossing was delicious. Barn Church of Milano will host a youth rally on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the church, located at 7 33 H oldiness L ane. The annual Milano Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary fall garage sale will be held Oct. 4-6 at the Milano Civic Center/Fire Station. The sale will run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 4-5 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6.
The ladies are now accepting donations. You can contact them now or wait to take it to the civic center starting at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1.

Milam County Health Department will hold a flu shot clinic in Milano on Friday, Oct. 5. Flu shot will be available from 9-11:30 a.m. at the community center, across from the post office downtown. The vaccine will be given at no cost to those with Medicare Part B, but you must present your card. All others will be $20. The annual Milano Elementary Fall Festival will be held Friday, Oct. 5. The event will run from 4-6:30 p.m. and be held at the pavilion area near the high school softball field.
