Mobile pet clinic set Oct. 4th in Rockdale

The Rockdale Emancipet mobile clinics have scheduled their next visit to Rockdale for Thursday, Oct. 4.

Future clinics are planned for the first Thursdays of each month, according Kim Brown, spokesperson.

Emancipet Mobile Clinic will be at S&S Auto, 1901 W. Cameron Avenue (next to Rockdale Federal Credit Union) offering spay and neuter services, low cost vaccinations and other preventatives for dogs and cats.

Spay/neuter services require appointments for that day. Minimum age and weight for those services is three months and three pounds. Approximate costs for dogs is $65 for to spay and $55 to neuter. For cats, to be spayed is $44 and to be neutered is $29.

Lost cost vaccinations will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a walk up basis and are now available to all dogs and cats.

Heartworm testing, preventative, microchipping and other services will be available. Transportation services may also be available.
