Boil water notice lifted in Rockdale

A boil-water notice for Rockdale water customers was lifted just before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

State-mandated boil water notices are automatically triggered when water pressure drops below a certain level.

City officials said overnight Saturday minor flooding at the intersection is believed to have contributed to the leak.

The water main was quickly repaired, and pressure was back to normal Sunday morning, but the boil water advisory remained until results of state-mandated water tests could be obtained,
