Milano postal customers are being asked for their opinions on the future of the community’s post office, specifically whether they would be willing to accept reduced office hours or closing it for good.

Kay Theatre Run is Saturday
Event has raised $53,000 toward restoration efforts
The seventh annual Kay Theatre Walk/Run/Unrun will unreel Saturday, beginning at the theatre, corner of Main and Davilla downtown.
The annual event raises funds for restoration of the 1940s-era theatre as a community center and performing arts venue.
Last year’s event rasied $5,000 and the six-year total is $53,000. Full Story

With a goal of $50,000, South Milam County United Way has launched its 2012-2013 fund campaign to support some 20 organizations that provide vital services for young and old.
