Youngblood

Services for Hubert Densley (Chick) Youngblood will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Milam County Cowboy Church.

Mr. Youngblood died on Sunday, Sept. 23.

He was born June 11, 1936.

Mr. Youngblood retired from Alcoa in 1994 and had a dairy farm for seven years. He opened The Barn Bar & Grill in 1973 and it is still in operation.

Mr. Youngblood enjoyed competing in barbecue cookoffs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Densley Youngblood; his mother, Ruth Youngblood; and a brother, James Roy Youngblood.

Survivors or his wife, Darlene Youngblood; a sister, Mary (Sissy) Williams and husband Larry; four daughters, Becky Youngblood, Vicky Von Gonten and husband Bob, Sharon Roznovak and husband Jeff, and Lisa Youngblood; two sons, James Youngblood and wife Jenna, and Michael Youngblood; and three stepdaughters, Donna Cooper and husband Clint, Sherry Waggoner and husband Johnny, Candice Endsley and husband T.J.; also, nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
