300 already got flu shots in county clinics
The Milam County Health Depar tment is in the process of administering flu shots at various locations throughout the county.
On Sept. 14 they set up at the KC Hall in Rockdale and administered some 100 shots while at Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron on Sept. 20 about 200 were immunized. Full Story
Centennial celebration the Girls Tomato Club
I t’s not everyday that Milam County can celebrate two centennial occasions, but on Tuesday, Oct. 9, that is just what we will be doing. Milam County 4-H is hosting the Texas State Celebration for the start of Tomato Clubs (Girls 4-H) and the hiring of the first Home Demonstration Agent, Edna Westbrook Trigg a native of Milam County.
