The Rockdale Lady Tigers could not put together any momentum in a pair of straight set losses on the road in District 18-3A action over the past week.
The Lady Tigers (8-15, 1-3) fell to Madisonville Tuesday night 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.

Sophomore steps off 205 yards and three touchdowns
THORNDALE—Whether its through the air or on the ground, the Thorndale Bulldogs have discovered an abundance of scoring opportunities as of late.
The Bulldogs continued to put up impressive numbers by grinding up Granger 53-14 Friday night at Bulldog Stadium.

CHILTON—The Milano Eagles’ perfect record got smashed on Friday night, falling 48-31 to Chilton and dipping to 4-1 on the season.

MILANO—In a battle of the two best teams in District 16A, it was Milano’s turn to come out on top.
The No. 16 Lady Eagles knocked off No. 21 Thorndale in three straight sets on Saturday afternoon at Geneva Paceley Gym in the opening game of the second round of league play. Full Story
Seventh graders remain undefeated with victory
Using a 32-point second quarter outburst, the Rockdale seventh grade team ran its record to 3-0 on the season with another impressive victory, smashing Smithville 46-6.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Tigers unleashed the scoring frenzy, set up by Gunner Miller’s interception deep in Smithville territory to shut down a drive. Full Story
