There was a lot going on over the weekend in town.

First, a big time was had by a big crowd at the annual Milano Elementary Fall Festival. All sorts of games, rides and food were enjoyed by all. Also over the weekend, the Milano Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary held its annual fall garage sale. It was three days of shopping at the Milano Civic Center and if you didn’t find a bargain, you didn’t look hard enough. Thanks to this group and the VFD for all they do for our community.

Don’t forget that the Milano ISD PATCH Club is still collecting “Box Tops For Education.” There are several containers around town you can drop off the box tops at, including the post office, water department and school offices. The box tops are sent in and the school earns free money.
