SCHOOL TALK—Milano Evening Lions Club President Bill McMinn (R) presents a certificate of appreciation to Milano ISD Supt. Robert Westbrook who spoke to the club Oct. 4 at the Milano Community Center. Westbrook, a Milano graduate, reviewed the history and discussed the future of Texas school standardized testing. On the subject of financing, he noted that some school districts receive up to three times the per-student allotment received by Milano.
