Jack Charles Schreiber, 81, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.

Mr. Schreiber was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Riesel.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict, and later was a salesman for most of his working life.
Mr. Schreiber enjoyed gardening, attending church and his little dog, Matilda, who was his loving and constant companion.
He served in the Methodist Church as a lay-speaker.
He was married to Mary Wanda Tanner for 61 years. They had two daughters, Dixie Elaine and Donna Sue, eight grandchildren, and a great-grandson, all surviving him.
Mr. Schreiber was also survived by a brother, Bobby Wayne Schreiber, and two sisters, Dee Pinno and Karon Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Schreiber and Leona Ashley Schreiber, and by a brother, Allen Ray Schreiber.
