$30,000 MDD grant re-energizes Kay restoration effort
Floor, wall work could lead to use of theatre
The Rockdale Municipal Development District (MDD) board came through with a $30,000 grant for the Kay Theatre Foundation Thursday, a move that could raise the curtain on the first productions in the 1940s-era venue now being restored. Full Story
Apache Pass hosting trail riders 3 days
Apache Pass (Downtown Texas), eight miles northwest of Rockdale, will host the second annual Texas Trail Riders Convention and trail ride Friday through Sunday.
An 18-mile trail ride begins at 9 a.m. Saturday with a shorter ride at 10 a.m. Sunday. Full Story
