Athletic boosters annual chili supper set for Friday night

Athletic Booster Club for its annual chili supper before the last varsity home game of the season on Friday, Nov. 2 beginning at 5 p.m. at the elementary cafeteria.

Get a bowl of chili, cheese, onions, crackers, drink and dessert for $5. M ilano athletes will provide the desserts.

Friday is also “senior night” during ceremonies held prior to the football game. Members of this year’s senior class, along with their parents/guardians, will be recognized. It’s a special night for us as granddaughter Hayleigh is a senior. Time sure flies.

Milano High School’s National Honor Society will sponsor a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19. If you would like to donate come by the school and sign up for a time or get in touch with Coach John Hughes, jhughes@milanoisd.net, with any question you may have.

Don’t forget that the Milano ISD PATCH Club is still collecting “Box Tops For Education.” There are several containers around town you can drop off the box tops at, including the post office, water department and school offices. The box tops are sent in and the school earns free money.
