No. 2 Lady Dogs take first game
THORNDALE—The Thorndale Lady Dogs—ranked No. 2 by Texas Preps magazine—captured their season opener by trimming Brentwood Christian 35-33 Tuesday night.
In the low scoring game, 6-foot- 4 center Olivia Atkins paced the Lady Dogs by collecting eight points, six rebounds and blocking three shots. Full Story

Milano misses post season for first time since 2009
MILANO— Milano is learning the true meaning of the word close. And it has nothing to do with horse shoes or hand grenades.
It was senior night for the Eagles and the class looked like just one small hurdle stood in its way of a third straight trip to the post-season.
