The seventh annual Buddy Oney Toy Run will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, beginning at The Ranch, according to Charles Starr, spokesman.

Ribbon cutting ceremonies for the new Place of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center, located at 231 E. Cameron Avenue in Rockdale, were held Tuesday morning. Thorndale’s annual downtown Christmas parade, activities set Saturday
Thorndale Area Chamber of Commerce ( TACC) will welcome Santa Claus and his elves to Thorndale on Saturday, Dec. 1, before and af ter the TACC Christmas parade. Line up for parade judging will be at noon and the parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. Ribbons will be awarded in various categories and winners will be announced as the entries go through the parade.
