School board passes on litigation for AYP

County okays clerk office position on split vote
CAMERON—Milam County Commissioners, meeting Monday in regular session at the courthouse, okayed creation of a records management clerk position in the county clerk’s office even though County Judge Dave Barkemeyer said he had problems with the way the new position is being funded. Full Story

Our Holiday Dinner on Dec. 6 was a huge success. We had five different dining areas decorated elaborately to fit their own theme.
A delicious supper of ham and turkey with all the trimmings was served by our staff to all the families and friends of our residents. A desert table was set up in every dining hall with cakes, cookies and pies. Full Story

Winners announced from annual Milano downtown Christmas parade
The annual City of Milano Christmas parade and free meal was a great hit. Lots of folks attended the parade and then headed over to the Milano Civic Center for a free turkey and dressing meal sponsored by the City of Milano. Kids also got a chance to take their picture with Santa Clause. Full Story
