Fifteen draw terms in court

CAMERON—Fifteen persons drew sentences during the past three weeks in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears.

She listed case dispositions as follows:

• Bennett Ross Weber III, 23, Dallas, pleaded guilty to possession of dangerous drugs, 18 months deferred adjudication probation, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, 100 hours community service, $1,500 fine, $140 restitution.

• John Wesley Middleton, 30, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), two-year state jail term probated four years, successful completion of substance abuse facility, $140 restitution.

• Dennis Keith Johnson, 46, Cameron, pleaded guilty to a lesser included offense, theft from person, nine-month state jail term, $226 restitution.

• A lf red R ay Blev ins, 55 , Rockdale, pleaded guilty to theft ($1,500 to $20,000), six-month state jail term.

• Stephen Cortinas, 20, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), eight years deferred adjudication probation, substance abuse evaluation, and any recommended treatment, $140 restitution.

• Debbie Ann Jimenez, 34, Cameron, pleaded guilty to robbery, a lesser included offense, four-year prison term. She also pleaded true to violating probation conditions on a motion to revoke probation on an original charge of burglary of a habitation and received a concurrent fouryear sentence.

• Gracie Facundo, 31, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), eight-year prison term probated four years, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $140 restitution.

• Leland Edward Lyles, 38, Cameron, pleaded guilty to theft ($1,500 to $20,000), six-month county jail term, $5,000 restitution and ordered to turn himself in on Jan. 2.

• Jessica Sakewitz, 27, Taylor, pleaded guilty to forgery, twoyear state jail term probated five years, successfully complete Central Texas Treatment Center.

• Daphane Nicole Spiers, 21, Caldwell, pleaded guilty to theft (under $1,500) with prior convictions, two years deferred adjudication probation, completion of theft aversion class.

• Amanda Lee Fisher, 35, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance ( less than one gram), 41- day county jail term.

• Jim Brown, 58, Cameron, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance (less than one gram) in a drug-free zone, 10-year prison term, probated five years, $140 probation.

• Milton Mitchell, 58, Bryan, pleaded true to engaging in organized criminal activity, two-year prison term.

• Lora Ann Brown, 49, Rockdale pleaded guilty to credit card abuse-elderly, six-year prison term.

• Simon Alexander Shuman, 57, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance ( less than one gram), two-year state jail term probated one year, $140 restitution, $1,500 fine. Shuman also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), concurrent two-year prison term probated four years, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $140 restitution.
