MANOR OAK NEWS

Our Holiday Dinner on Dec. 6 was a huge success. We had five different dining areas decorated elaborately to fit their own theme.

A delicious supper of ham and turkey with all the trimmings was served by our staff to all the families and friends of our residents. A desert table was set up in every dining hall with cakes, cookies and pies.

We had entertainment by Lisa Debault and Emily McCoy. A huge thank you to Emily for her beautiful voice and loving smile.

We would also like to thank The Thorndale Meat Market for slicing 12 turkeys and six hams for us. They will never know what a huge donation that was for us.

Also a big thank you to Main Street Rentals in Taylor and our local churches for the use of their tables and chairs.

Our staff had a hall decorating contest and wow, they look fabulous. Thank you to all of our staff for brightening the halls with such great cheer. All of our residents are so excited.

We would also like to thank the Rockdale Rotary members, Kent Bowerman, Gordon Todd, Mike Vance, Homer Mowdy and Jack Chelf for coming out to the facility and judging our halls.

First place is Country Christmas and second place is Winter Wonderland.

Please feel free to stop by the facility and see what a wonderful holiday spirit we have.

We had a special treat from Rockdale Aglow Lighthouse. They brought in Christmas gifts for all of our residents and visited with them. We really appreciate the love and care they showed our residents.

We would like to thank our staff, their families and our community for all of their support and Manor Oaks wants to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

Angels are still for sale for $5 in loving memory of residents who have passed away. Please visit us and see how our Angel Tree is filling up with beautiful angels.

Manor Oaks is a non-profit organization and we depend on the support of our community.
