Driver draws indictment in Walmart theft, chase
40 true bills returned in busy final session
A 23-year-old Rockdale man, identified as the driver of a car which led law enforcement officials on a chase Oct. 3 after a theft incident at Walmart, was indicted Thursday by a Milam County Grand Jury.
L0gan Dellerman was one of 40 persons indicted in a busy December session, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears. Full Story

The home of Frank and Patsy David, 104 Champions Drive, was judged “best overall” in Rockdale’s 2012 Christmas decorations contest.
Judging was Friday night in the annual contest, conducted by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce.

Missing three key players, the Lady Tigers were outlasted 54-37 by Austin Crockett Friday night in Tiger Gymnasium.

AUSTIN—Texas Comptroller Susan Combs said that state sa les ta x revenue in November was $2.34 billion, up 13.1 percent compared to November 2011.
Combs sent out $552 million in November local sales tax allocations last week to cities, counties, transit systems a nd specia l pur pose taxing districts. That is up 15.5 percent compared to the same time in 2011. Full Story
