Lady E gives tips on how to pack to perfect RV kitchen
Taking life on the road doesn’t have to mean sacrificing a warm, home cooked meal for the family and kiddos in tow. In fact, Evada Praesel Cooper, also known by RV regulars as “Lady E,” is teaching men and women alike that RV cooking can be just as fun as creating fami ly style meals in a full size kitchen.
Evada Praesel Cooper lived in Rockdale for 47 years, until 2007, and was owner of Deli Subs & Salads from 1987-2002. She is a RHS Class of 1978 grad and is the mother of two, Gina Davis, 21, of Somerville, and Stephanie Davis Willey, 29, of Waxahachie. Her parents are Virginia and Arthur Gus Praesel of Rockdale.
From cooking for full time families— which, are families who live full time in their RVs traveling the world— to occasional vacation travelers, packing the perfect kitchen is key to keeping husbands, wives and kids happy and content with a full belly.
Those interested in learning more about packing the perfect kitchen and discovering more about RV cooking tips and tricks are in luck. From Jan. 3-6, the RV Super Sale Show will be rolling in to town showcasing over 300 of the latest and greatest RVs and offering guests access to seminars, including Evada’s “My RV Kitchen with Lady E.” Evada’s husband, Terry Cooper, also known as The RV Professor, will also be teaching a handful of information rich and user-friendly educational courses.
Packing and cooking in an RV compact spaces are not typically ideal for creating beautiful family meals; however, Lady E has been utilizing her compact kitchen space in her RV for many years. Evada enjoys cooking in her RV so much so that she decided to share her tips and tricks with the world.
In April 2011, Evada published a cookbook entitled RV Centennial Cookbook–Celebrating 100 Years of RVing (1910-2010) which gives readers an inside look at her most cherished and practical RV recipes.
In some ways, her cookbook is similar to her seminars, giving people practical tips and tricks for stocking, storing and cooking for the full-time RV traveler. Lady E’s seminars are fun, informative and interactive; for instance, Evada even gives attendees tips about the electrical maintenance issues of RV kitchens, so the lessons learned don’t just stop when you complete a meal.
In other words, Evada teaches her students about anything and everything concerning RV kitchens. From maintenance, to stocking a mobile pantry, to special recipes, and even clean up, Lady E is the go to gal for learning everything there is to know about maintaining the perfect RV kitchen.
MOBILE RV ACADEMY— Evada and Terry live a life that some may call “the dream.” They run an educational RV company from the comfort of their beautiful 2012 REDWOOD 36RL 5th wheel and 2012 Ford 350 Turbo Diesel 4x4, which are both sponsored by REDWOOD RV, Explore USA RV and Reese Hitches.
Mobile RV Academy is a consumer and professional based training academy, specializing in RV maintenance for men and women alike; the couple travels the country offering their maintenance and kitchen seminars to RV lifestyle consumers and those interested in learning more about potentially purchasing and RV and living the RV lifestyle.
Lady E manages her and the Professor’s business online, giving the couple a chance to enjoy the thrills of traveling coast to coast while attending business seminars. The Coopers live a life of balance by working from their favorite getaway vehicle, their very own RV. In fact, when the couple first met, Lady E was already living as a full-time RVer in Waco, Texas in 2008; she met Terry that year and together they continued working and living as full-time RVers.
