Funeral services for Earline Fruge Parker, 85, of Rockdale were held Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Ross Cunningham of Master’s Gateway Church in Milano officiating. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Parker died Saturday, Jan. 12, in Manor Oaks Nursing Center in Rockdale.

She was born March 22, 1927, in Louisiana.

She married Henry G. Parker Sr. on May 17, 1975, in Galveston.

Mrs. Parker had been a Rockdale resident for the past nine years.

She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Rockdale.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry G. Parker Sr., on April 22, 2012.

Survivors are a son, Richard Smith of Arizona; a stepson, Glenn Parker of Gause; a stepdaughter, Charmaine Murello and husband Jay of Gause; four grandchildren, Jayson Murello, Ashley Hughes and husband Jeffrey, Jordan and Trent Parker; and two great-grandchildren, Jovi and Jedi Hughes.

Pallbearers were Michael Lumpkin, Mark Ivins, Jayson Murello, Jospeh Murello, Glen Parker and Tim Guthrie.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
