ALL-REGION PERFORMERS—Twelve members of the Rockdale High School Big Blue Band participated in the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Region 18/26 clinic and concert on Friday and Saturday at Texas State University in San Marcos. To qualify for the band, the students went through a rigorous audition process along with over five hundred students from two regions. The all-region bands rehearsed for nine hours between Friday evening and Saturday to prepare for the concert on Saturday night. The bands were under the direction of Dr. David Campo, Associate Director of Bands and Dr. Tamey Anglley, Assistant Director of Bands from Stephen F. Austin State University.
