CAMERON— Graveside services for Rosalee “Chris” Wilson Withrow, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, were held Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague with Madeline Hoherd officiating.
Mrs. Withrow died Jan. 13, in a Colorado Springs nursing center.
She was born April 20, 1920, in Teague to Eugene Roe and Maggie (Jones) Wilson.
Mrs. Withrow lived many years in Thousand Oaks, California, moved to Waco in 1978 and then to Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2008 until her death.
She was a homemaker, a former member of Highland Baptist Church in Waco and a member of the Texas Star chapter of Embroidery Guild of America.
Mrs. Withrow was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Withrow, in 1971; three sisters, Kay Green, Marie Crawford and Tony Flanagin; and a granddaughter, Jessie Withrow.
Survivors are four daughters, Jill Baker of Louisville, Kentucky, Alice Wilson of Columbus, Georgia, Madeline Hoherd of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Wendy Withrow of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Gene Wilson of McGregor; and a sister, Opal “Diz” Hanbey of Marysville, Washington; also, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
