More originators listed for Milano’s Jamboree
In regard to Ms. Galbreath’s article (Jan. 10) concerning the Milano Jamboree, I would like to add Grady Barnett Jr. to the list of those who started the Jamboree.
It should also be mentioned that the original Jamboree met at the old American Legion Hall and then moved to the high school in the early 70s. Full Story
17-year-old needs legal aid in Walmart chase
The Walmart chase involves three men and a boy that cannot read or write and has severe mental disabilities.
During the time of the theft the 17-ear-old was talking to my daughter and was not aware of what was going on. He had gotten a ride with these men to visit his grandma.
He was also charged with a controlled substance that was not in his possession. Full Story

The Faubion Bridge is still in the Little River about a half mile upstream from the Sugarloaf Mountain Bridge.
