Wet Wednesday

West Rockdale residents were without water for several hours last Wednesday when a six-inch city water line ruptured under a driveway on the east side of, Rockdale Road between O’Kelley and Yokley. Working on the break was a city crew, including: Front (L-R), Joseph Montelongo and Shane Whitmire; back, Randall Schoppe and Paul Nieto. Water service was restored about 9 p.m. At one point water from the break drained down several city streets all the way to US 79.
