Services for Nannie Faye Muston, 85, were held Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in First Baptist Church in Rockdale. Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Jack Chelf and Rev. Jim Muston officiate.
Mrs. Muston died Tuesday, Jan. 29, in Cameron Nursing Center in Cameron.
She was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Bronte to Andrew Jackson and Fannie Serena (McCaleb) Muston.
She married Lee D. Muston on May 23, 1947, in First Baptist Church in Rockdale.
Mrs. Muston lived in Rockdale since her marriage.
She was a homemaker, a seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Muston was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 19, 2006; her parents; three brothers, Rev. Lee Muston, Vernon Muston and Jesse Muston; and five sisters, Wanda Bachkora, Rhonda Smith, Vivian King, Bonnie Baker and Fannie Odessa Hall.
Survivors are two sons, Roy Lee Muston and wife Bert of Pasadena, Rev. Jim Muston and wife Sandy of Cordova, Tennessee; three daughters, Juanita Beason and husband Billy, Bonnie Kelley and husband Danny, all of Rockdale, Kathy Muston of Holland; and a sister, Bonita Stephens of Modesta, California; also, 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
