County Contest Night scheduled March 18th
Cheryl Walker
Extension Agent

March 18 is the date set for the County Contest Night at Ben Milam Elementary School in Cameron. 4-Hers wanting to compete in District for the following contests will need to enter the March 18 contests: round-up presentations, Sharethe Fun contests and fashion show.

Roundup presentations are short talks about something you learned in a 4-H project. You can have poster, power points and other props to teach the information. Share-the-Fun contests offer a variety of ways to show off your talents. You can sing, dance, cheer, read poetry and much more. Fashion show participants can buy or construct a garment and model it for the judges. You will be asked questions about why you purchased the outfit along with care and quality questions. Details on contest opportunities are available in the January 4-H newsletter or contact the Milam County Extension Office. Entry forms are available on the county website: http://milam. agrilife.org/.
