MANOR OAKS NEWS

Love Is In The Air. Happy Valentine’s Day to all our staff, residents, families and the community.

Monday night we hosted our Family Valentine Social. Our rooms were decorated in hot pink and black and white zebra print. Our residents, families and friends enjoyed smoked sausage, dips, salads, meatballs, cupcakes, brownies and heavenly raspberry punch. You could hear our entertainment throughout the entire facility.

A special thank you to Lisa Debault, Cody Kaufmann, Lisa Loewe and Brody Debault for singing throughout the night. It was enjoyed tremendously.

We have so many people involved in putting these events together and I would like to mention a few. Thank you to Joyce Martin (our assistant activities director), John and Peggy Fischer, Glenda Morgan, our Rehab Department, First Christian Church, Ruby Pittman, Barbara Nelson, Svetlik family, Perry Family, Hodge family, and Betty Backhaus for their donations and support.

We have many supporters who may not have been mentioned but please know that your involvement and support means everything to this facility.

Our next big event is our Community Easter Holiday Celebration on March 29. Most of the events will be outside. We are thrilled to have I-Tigers coming in to do children’s activities.

We ask that if you are a vendor, please call Lisa Debault to sign up to sell your goodies. The cost to vendors is $20 and you are responsible for your own set-up. We need plastic Easter eggs. If you are able to donate the plastic eggs, please bring them by and drop off at the business office.

Manor Oaks is located at 222 S FM 487 and is a non-profit organization. We depend on the support of our community.

For more information, call Michelle Morgan at 512-446- 5893.
