CAMERON—Funeral services for Thomas Howard “Sleepy” Wardlaw, 87, of Cameron will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Oak Hill Cemetery pavilion in Cameron with Rev. Drew Weber officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.

Mr. Wardlaw died Sunday, Feb. 17, at his home.

He was born on Jan. 13, 1926, in Waco to Thomas and Ruby (Klatt) Wardlaw.

He graduated from C.H. Yoe High School, was the owner of Skeezix’s in Cameron and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Wardlaw was preceded in death by his wife, Eura (Foster) Wardlaw, in 2008.

Survivors are a son, Louis Howard Wardlaw of Cameron; a stepson, Charles Cummings of Dobson, North Carolina; and a brother, Richard Kee Wardlaw of Romayor; also, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
