TRAIN TALK—Rockdale was a train buff’s delight on Saturday as the I&GN Depot-Museum was one of the major venues at the seventh annual Tejas Fest. At left, nationally-honored train photographer Dr. J. Parker Lamb returned for the second year to show his photos, and give a background lecture on railroads, in the restored depot. At right, traino philes had the chance to climb all over the real thing on the sidings outside as the depot’s restored caboose and in-the-process-of-restoration dining car were open to the public.
