The date of this month’s scheduled visit by a comnmerical shredder to the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, originally scheduled for Friday (March 8) has been changed.

New date is Monday, March 25, according to Denise Bock, Chamber secretary, who announced the change Tuesday.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. “We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause,” she said.

The shredder’s visit to Rockdale is again being co-sponsored as a community service by the Chamber and the Rotary Club.

Use of the shredder is free to individuals. Businesses will pay 16 cents a pound.

Businesses are asked to call the Chamber, 446-2030, in advance if they plan to bring documents for shredding.
