RJH crowns winners in art fair

287 entries in annual competition

Photos courtesy Lani Yoiung Winner s have been announced in the annual art fair at Rockdale Junior- High School, according to Lani Young, art instructor.

Young said 287 pieces of art from seventh and eighth-graders were submitted.

“We tried something different this year,” she said. “Instead of using the traditional judges from other campuses in the district, we had the students vote on the judging, using iPods and QR (quick response) codes,” she said.

“They had a great time and it was fun to see the end results of the voting,” Young said.

She listed results as follows:
