Lights, camera, honors.........



Rockdale Milam Adult Resource (MARC) Center has been named winner of the 2013 Frank M. Adams Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service in the community category. The award is bestowed by the Texas Council of Community Centers. Last week a film crew was at the MARC Center to document its services and history in preparation for the award, which will be presented June 27 in Dallas. At left, Ethel Throckmorton, MARC charter member, talks with Dr. Ray Helmcamp of Central Counties Services as the cameras roll. It’s a big week for MARC. The annual MARC Run is set for Saturday at The Ranch. (See Story, ads page 1A, 3A, 6A, 1B)
