TACC car show, quilts event set Saturday

Thorndale Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is all geared up for their big event on Saturday, April 20. Our fourth annual Classic Car Show and Airing of the Quilts events are on tap to be sure to bring you a wonderful day of browsing and appreciation for the cars of yesterday and the wonderful quilts of both past and present.

In addition, the arts and craf ts booths l ining the streets of downtown are sure to have something you absolutely need. TACC will also be selling raff le tickets for their “All Around the Posies” quilt which will fund our youth scholarships this year.

For information on entering a quilt in the TACC Quilt Show, call Darleen Tucker at 512- 898-2727 or email dar_ tucker@yahoo.com. Quilts will be accepted for the quilt show until noon on Friday. This will be a viewer-judged quilt show and we look forward to seeing you and your quilts at the show.

The car show looks to be a big crowd pleaser and will line the streets of downtown Thorndale. The show will include trophies for the winners in all categories and an over-all winner.
