A 4-2 loss at No. 9 Somerville on Tuesday night, coupled with the fact Milano (12-10, 5-3) and Burton split in their two meetings this year, the Lady Eagles will most likely play another game to see if they or Burton will go as the league’s second place squad.

Somerville won the outright league title with the win over the Lady Eagles.

Burton and Milano coaches were set to discuss tie breaker options on Wednesday.

Against Somerville, the Lady Eagles were holding their own and tied the game at 2-2 on an RBI double by Emily Overall in the top of the sixth.

The Lady Yeguas added the deciding two runs in the bottom of that frame.

Milano left three base runners in scoring position throughout the game.

Kiersten Bastow took the loss on the mound, striking out two.
