MANOR OAKS NEWS

This past Thursday we served a volunteer brunch at Manor Oaks.

Everyone enjoyed great food, great companionship and a slide show presentation. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers again.

This month our residents are going to be moving and grooving.

On May 8, we are pulling out all the board games for a day of fun. We invite the community to join us at 3 p.m. for games and laughter.

We will be providing a Mother’s Day brunch for our mothers on May 13.

We are going to recognize National Police Week by taking cookies to our local police station on May 14.

On May 17, we are taking a group of residents to Giddings to enjoy Senior Day at the Giddings Fair.

We are celebrating Memorial Day in a big way this year. We will be honoring our veteran’s on May 27 by having a huge cookout and the Community Band will be here to entertain.

We would like to thank our Rockdale 4-H’ers for all their help with the gardening in our courtyard. It looks great!

May 6 starts National Nurses Week. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our nurses who are so dedicated to our residents and our building. Our nurses have such big hearts and their passion for our residents is apparent everyday. Thank you.

We now have a contract with Scott & White to accept their Senior Health Plan.

Manor Oaks is located at 222 S FM 487 and is a non-profit organization. We depend on the support of our community.
