Come to council and talk about water issues

Dear editor,

Hey Rockdale, y’all tired of the water yet? Well I sure am.

The regular meeting of the city council is 5:30 p.m. Monday.

If you live in the city limits or own a business in the city limits or pay your water bill to the city of Rockdale, then fill up a jar of that good ole Rockdale brown water and come on down to the Monday meeting.

It’s your chance to ask the council yourself.

Ask them what do they spend your tax money on? What are they thinking or do they think?

Or do they get all the facts? And where does the info they get come f rom? You might get some answers.

When a large group showed up last time the people of Rockdale made a stand and stopped the City of Rockdale from passing the Nuisance law as it was written, so maybe if we show up in numbers again we could get some answers about our water.

Such as why should we have to pay the kind of money we do when it ruins our clothes?

I won’t drink it or give it to my family to drink. If it does that to my clothes, why would I ever drink it?

But I have to pay for it and then buy drinking water too! Unreal.

My fish couldn’t even survive in this water.

Stop complaining where it does no good and complain where it might do some good, Monday 5:30 p.m, City Hall.

Hope to see you there!
