History no mystery in play
Tradition continues on campus
Taking the traumatic Civil War era very seriously (L-R) Brianne (Scarlett O’Hara), Fernando Luna (Robert E. Lee), Amanda Barr David (Sojourner Truth), Will Pounders (Ulysses. S. Grant), Deja (southern belle). Each era in American history featured a separate Oges (Harriet Tubman), Tray Hill (Abraham Lincoln, Leigh Hilland group of characters. Where else can you see Dwight Eisenhower dancing with Rosie the Riveter, Franklin Roosevelt pop a wheelie and John Hancock sign the Declaration of Independence with a quill pin wearing shoes that would have been the envy of King George III.
Rockdale Intermediate School’s annual fifth grade Walk Through History Play, which unreeled Thursday af ternoon before a standing room-only crowd of parents and other visitors in the school gym.

All fifth graders have a part in the play every year.
Maddy Moody (Lady Liberty) introduced each of the acts.
Cole Rickman as John Hancock, had the coolest document, the Declaration of Independence and also some really cool shoes.
World War II is over and the celebrationn is on, led by Shay Gibson and Devon Whitsel as Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt.
