Appraisal review board sets hearings
CAMERON—The Appraisal Review Board (ARB) will begin formal hearings of all property owners that filed an appeal of the 2013 Notice of Appraised Value. Protestors will be mailed a Notice of Hearing stating date, time and location of the hearing 15 days prior to their scheduled date. Full Story
Building permits down for the month
City building permits issued for the month of May totaled just $27,500, ac c ord ing to Rockdale city hall officials.
Permits are dow n for the month, compared to $57,350 in the month of April.
It isn’t the lowest for 2013, as permits totaled just $27,250 in February.
Permit totals for the fiscal year, which started in October, now sit at $1,746,398. Full Story
