Out-of-school TAKS Exit Level Retest set for July

Pruett graduates cum laude from SHSU
HUNTSVILLE— Ashley Pruett, of Rockdale, graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University in May ceremonies.

Kocian earns degree from TC before diploma
TAYLOR— Andrew Kocian, son of Larry and Cherie Kocian, all of Rockdale, received his Associate of Arts Degree from Temple College on May 17 at the Commencement Ceremony at the Hutto Preforming Arts Center.

Dykes on Iowa Lakes College Dean’s list
ESTHERVILEE, IOWA— Ashleigh Dykes of Milano, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2013 semester at Iowa Lakes Community College.
Requirements for inclusion on the Dean’s list are that students earn a GPA of 3.25 or above while beign a full-time studient enrolled in 12 or more graded credits. Full Story
Thorndale cheerleaders offering mini camp
THORNDALE— The Thorndal e cheerleaders will hold a Little Bulldog Cheer Camp on July 29-31 at the Thorndale Middle School gym.

RHS cheerleaders to hold car wash June 22
The Rockdale High School Cheerleaders will host a car wash on Saturday, June 22 at Gatti’s Pizza in Rockdale to help raise money for new uniforms, according to spokesperson Tina Barcak.
