CAMERON—Funeral Serv ices for Theresa Frances Urban, 89, of Cameron were held Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Petty officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.

Mrs. Urban died May 26 in a Cameron nursing center.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1923, in Plantersville to Wendelin and Anna (Mock) Giesie.

Mrs. Urban was a waitress at The Texan Café and Ponderosa Restaurant for a many years.

She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 2010 and member of the Widows Mite at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.

She married Arnold J. “Tutt” Urban on Nov. 27, 1947.

Mrs. Urban was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and six sisters.

Survivors are two sons, Raymond Alfred Urban and John Arnold Urban, both of Cameron; two daughters, Frances Ann Adcox and Kathleen Annette Thorpe, both of Cameron; and a sister, Dora Brady of Brazoria; also, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
