Uncle-in-law C.T. ‘Red’ Bollinger was absolute joy
The last of the “Bollinger Boys” was buried May 23 in Dallas. C.T. (Corpal True) “Red” Bollinger, 97, was the next oldest of the five boys and the middle child of seven. He was a delight and brought joy to even the darkest day with his eternal optimism and happy-go-lucky approach to life. Full Story

Recently I’ve been attending a lot of baseball games to watch my grandson and his teammates as they competed for the state 2A high school championship.
He is the catcher for the Salado Eagles, who fell one game short losing to the Hallettsville Brahmas in the semifinals.

Record book winners advance to district
Thirty-two 4-H record books were judged on June 20. Record books are a summary of all the 4-Hers experiences. The winners in the junior, intermediate and senior division will go on to District record book judging in July. Congratulations to the 4-Hers and thanks to the volunteers who judged the record books.
